Ben Holmes

RealtorĀ® MD|DC|VA

Since 2003, Ben’s high client-retention and referral rates illustrate his successful partnerships — he quickly becomes a trusted advisor and advocate for his clients and their families; he genuinely wants people to do well. From working with first-time homebuyers, to buyers and sellers who are upsizing or downsizing, no two days, projects, properties or clients are alike, and that’s exactly what he loves about his job.

A 25-year DC-metropolitan resident, Ben has personally bought, sold, renovated and rented scores of houses over the years, so all of his advice comes from first-hand experience. He is keenly aware of the emotions and difficult decisions involved in buying or selling a home, and he works overtime to ensure his clients feel genuinely listened to and taken care of. From the initial consultation to closing day and beyond, Ben stands by his clients’ sides, guiding them through the process and offering his considerable expertise along the way.

A life-long musician, Ben began playing drums as a child and spent 15 years after college touring and traveling the world as part of a band. Being immersed in diverse cultures and environments equipped Ben with the ability to be highly adaptable and to communicate effectively; it also instilled him with a passion for meeting and helping other people. That’s why his transition into real estate felt more like a natural progression rather than a career change.

Originally from Connecticut, Ben hails from a family with a history steeped in architecture and home building — it’s not only his surname that reflects his passion, it’s in his blood. When he’s not playing drums or performing live, he can likely be found enjoying the outdoors, specifically downhill skiing in the winter and fly fishing on the Potomac river whenever possible.
