Marcela keeps updated on new laws and regulations that affect the real estate market, taxes, and contract forms. Being a former teacher herself, she makes continuous education one of her top priorities as a real estate professional. Marcela has graduated from the Brian Buffini Lead Generation Program, and the Floyd Wickman International Academy, one of the most rigorous programs in the country. Marcela is also a certified SMARTMOVE agent and a rental specialist and has helped families relocate in and out of the Washington Metropolitan area. Marcela is licensed in Maryland, DC, and Virginia, and has been a Bethesda resident since 1990.

In her free time, Marcela enjoys spending time with her family and her 2 rescue puppies; playing recreational tennis; enjoying the outdoors, or just reading a good thriller or historical novel. Her favorite vacation spots are St. John’s US Virgin Islands with its pristine waters, unspoiled beaches, and amazing snorkeling reefs, and hiking and trekking in Patagonia, in her native Argentina. Marcela loves exploring new places, both in the US and overseas, and she has walked the last 160 miles of the “Way to Compostela” (Camino de Santiago). She is definitely looking forward to completing the whole trail of 550 miles! Marcela enjoys a challenge and will relentlessly devote her energies to achieving her goals, both business and adventure!
